THE REAL TIGERSTONE

Founded in 1996 under the name Pacific Realm Productions, Tigerstone Entertainment has expanded into a diverse production and promotion company in Vancouver BC. In the beginning, we brought a new light to the underground electronic music scene, redefining the average weekly club night experience with 5-0 Tuesdays at the Starfish Room. Showcasing the best of local talent with numerous first ever appearances by some of the biggest names in the industry from around the globe. With a 2 year run of packed out nights, we provided a diverse fusion of electronic beats that would go on to become one of the most talked about nights the city has ever experienced.

With the foundation strongly molded, we went on to produce a number of different nights in the city, small rave parties and after hour events. With 5 years of producing electronic events, we thought it would be a good idea to follow our musical interests. At the beginning of 2002 we produced our first hip hop concert with the Duck Down Records Tour featuring Smiff N Wessun, Buckshot and DJ Logic. With the success of our first show, we pressed on with a few artists debuts, Pete Rock, El-P, RJD2, Mr Lif, and DJ Spinna to name a few.

Tigerstone has shaped itself into one of the leading production companies in the city over the past decade. Forming alliances with some of the top entertainment companies in the city has played a large part to our success. Being one of the only production outfits in western Canada specializing in both hip hop and electronica productions, allows us to connect to the whole urban market.
